Why Every Southwest Florida Business Leader Is Talking About This Exclusive Networking Event

Southwest Florida Business Today Expands Into Business Events
Following nearly two decades of being in service to the business fraternity of their region by disseminating news and information, Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT) is making a move to the events scene by organizing its first ever business networking event. The organization is venturing into a new format in which the business community members get an opportunity to interact face-to-face.
The event, which will be held on May 27th, 2009 at the Spanish Wells Country Club in Bonita Springs, is named "SWFBT's Elevated Event: Connecting AtThe Top." It will take place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Creating a Different Kind of Networking Experience
Karen Moore, the Founder, Owner, and Publisher of SWFBT says that this event was developed in order to bring in a different method of networking in Southwest Florida. The event does not intend to have huge numbers or any kind of presentation at all; instead, it aims to give an opportunity to business leaders to network and converse.
Moore says that she wanted to make an informal space for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives in order to create professional relationships among them. She further adds that the members of the business community in Southwest Florida had always suggested that SWFBT conduct such events for which this effort has finally come into existence.
Designed for Local Business Leaders
The event will target business owners, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and other high-level decision-makers from all over Southwest Florida. According to the organizers, the event will foster cooperation and provide participants with an opportunity to build up their professional networks.
According to SWFBT, such an approach to developing an event will help to promote partnership initiatives and economic development within the region. The number of attendees at the event is restricted to 150 people.
Sponsors and Event Details
Various sponsors have committed themselves for the first event. They include Florida SouthWestern State College, Image One Commercial Cleaning, TLC Marketing & Creative Services, Pirozzi Organization Development Solutions, Suncoast Credit Union, Lee County Insurance, Brennan, Manna & Diamond Attorneys, OneDigital Retirement & Wealth, Blue Waters Development Group, Intersport/Fort Myers Tip-Off, and Grow Business Network SWFL. The sponsorships offer marketing benefits through SWFBT media outlets.
The tickets cost $50 each and come with heavy hors d’oeuvres, giveaways via raffles, swag bags for all participants, and the privilege of using a cash bar. Participation is available through registration now.
A New Chapter for SWFBT
The organization has now made another step by launching such networking sessions which come at a very critical time in the history of Southwest Florida Business Today. Having served for 19 years offering business news to its subscribers, SWFBT now wants to venture into more areas through the establishment of face-to-face sessions that would allow building of business contacts.
