Gainesville to Host One-Night Flavor Event

Residents of Gainesville will have the chance to taste new dishes and beverages from Saucy! by KFC as the restaurant is set to hold the Saucy! Fest on Thursday, Aug. 20. The one-day community event will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Saucy! by KFC restaurant situated at 3403 W. University Ave.

Saucy! Fest has been arranged by the restaurant in order to give its customers a taste of the expanded menu of the restaurant through food tasting, fun activities, and entertainment. The visitors will also have the opportunity to taste several items that will be soon added to the main menu of the restaurant.

The Saucy! Fest will revolve around the newly introduced Flavor Playground by Saucy!.

Sauces Combo Joins the Permanent Menu

The Sauces Combo will be one of the major highlights of the restaurant when it will become a regular menu item on Aug. 20.

The package consists of three tenders, fries, medium drink and four sauces. Each of the sauces is tied to a certain character from the Saucy! brand. The DJ character Saucy! is a representative of the Saucy! Sauce, the Creole Capone is tied to the Creole Honey Mustard, the K-Ferno represents Korean Sweet Heat and Teri Yappi represents Sweet Teriyaki.

The package allows trying several sauces at once and represents the idea of developing menu by flavors, which Saucy! was always striving for.

Nashville Hot Tendies and Dirty Sodas Coming Soon

Here are some menu items coming up that guests at Saucy! Fest can try even before the official launch.

The first item is called Nashville Hot Tendies. These tenders are set to make their way onto the menu on Aug. 25 and will feature Nashville Hot Rub.

The next item that will come soon is Dirty Sodas. This drink is set for launch on Sept. 1. Guests will be able to mix their own beverages at the Beverage Remix Bar of the restaurant.

Saucy! Fest attendees can try out these menu items before they go live on the menu officially.

Free Sauce Flights and Games for Guests

There is going to be much more than just food for dinner. The first 200 guests attended Saucy! Fest will be presented with free sauce flights, thus getting an opportunity to taste the sauces offered by the restaurant.

Another activity will be Sauce Roulette, which gives participants a chance to win some items from Saucy! collection of products such as T-shirts, tattoos, stickers, luggage tags, and vinyl record coasters.

Also, there will be a live DJ performing music during the two-hour event.
