JPMorgan Pushes for Cross-Industry AI Security Collaboration

JPMorgan Chase chief executive officer Jamie Dimon is spearheading an initiative to enhance safeguards against the increasing dangers of artificial intelligence. The bank CEO is making efforts to contact executives from various industries with the aim of enlarging the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI) and engaging in cooperation to address any dangers arising from the use of AI.

These initiatives started in July and involve more than 40 firms from industries such as banking and finance, energy, water, utilities, telecoms, airlines, railways, and others that are technology intensive.

Building Stronger Defenses Against AI Threats

JPMorgan played a role in the formation of the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure along with firms such as Mastercard and Berkshire Hathaway Energy. The alliance is now shifting its focus towards AI security as artificial intelligence is becoming more and more entrenched in business processes. The alliance plans to become a platform for sharing information and assessing the risks involved in technology. They will collaborate with government agencies to devise measures to solve problems.
